Cura Animarum

My entry for =Shiaine's Emotions contest. This piece is of her character, Findar, who (if I recall and understand correctly) is a priest of Hope. His religion and his temple are his world, and when the temple is destroyed Findar's world is altered forever.

I wanted to capture the anger and frustration at such a tragedy. Instead of going for bloodlust though (he did not strike me as such a person) I wanted more of a steely resolve and determination, with a few hints of ire, naturally.

I was hoping to do more with the background, but with the deadline coming up, I am glad just to get an entry done on time, heh. I also hope I managed to capture the character at least somewhat accurately; I'm afraid I do not have much experience drawing other peoples' characters.
